EDUCATION KEY TO ACHIEVING POTENTIALS: Guide Book for All African Students

This is a multi-purpose book for all African Students from Senior High Schools to Tertiary Institutions which focuses on education, career and personal development, with emphasis on seeking and applying knowledge. The book does not only guide, it also instructs, informs and inspires you to action; to pursue and achieve success in your education, career and personal development goals and aspirations.

Introduction

Two of the most important organs of the human body which control human activities are the brain and the heart. Desires of man come from the heart, but it takes the mind to facilitate all human activities and produce results; you need to think and apply the power of the mind to achieve success. As you think, you can apply all other body parts, including the heart and accomplish your desired goals and aspirations.

Therefore, the greatest achievements in life are the products of active and developed minds. We have the capacity to achieve greater heights in life, if we develop our minds to look within and beyond ourselves to seek knowledge. That is why I believe “The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste.” I believe one of the greatest things we must seek apart from God is education; seek knowledge and information in order to excel in all our life endeavours.

This is from the reasoning that, knowing God without education and knowledge, you cannot discover and achieve your full potentials. God has given us the power of the mind to think, pursue and accomplish whatever is in our abilities; interest and passion, but we can achieve all these, except through education and seeking knowledge. Even we can know God better, only by seeking knowledge of Him. Thus:

Human development greatly depends on active, developed, focused and purposeful minds, and developed worlds are developed by developed minds; the capacity of a nation is the capacity of developed and resourceful minds. There would be no civilisation or progress of humanity without the application of developed, focused and resourceful minds.”

That is why, I think education and seeking knowledge is very, very important: and I am inspired to write this book, because of my desire to affect my world through knowledge promotion, by touching hearts and minds; and partly because of my experiences in education, career and personal development. Through my experiences, I believe if there is a single book which can help people achieve all these themes; education, career and personal development goals, with personal touch, sharing experiences with inspirations, it will be really useful.

Therefore, this is not only a guide book; it is also educative, informative and inspirational with emphasis on seeking and applying knowledge in one’s education, career and personal development process. It instructs, informs and inspires students to achieve their full potentials and succeed in their set goals and dreams in the three areas identified and other aspirations in life.

Life is shaped by the amount of information we have and all successes of man is driven by education, knowledge and personal attitude. As I alluded to earlier, this is not only a guide book; it is also educative, informative and inspirational with emphasis on seeking and applying knowledge. This is a book which is stocked with a world of knowledge; information and diverse ideas, which will guide, educate, inform and inspire students for excellence.

Mr Raymond Doe; Human Development Expert who forwards the book agrees with the author that if students make this book their companion, they will overcome challenges to their studies and achieve their education, career and personal development goals par-excellence.

Students always need to remember these: “Education is Key to Achieving Your Potentials and Career Goals and that: The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Waste. The brain is the powerhouse of knowledge, if you waste your mind, you waste your life and purpose.” The writer wishes students all the best in the pursuance of their academic, career and personal development goals; as they acquire, read and apply the concepts in the book. Thank you for following.
