Sometimes you see some comments online by people who seem all knowing, but when you think into their thinkings overtime; compare and contract, in fact I only say the comments leave much to be desired.
In my days at University of Ghana, Legon that was in first semester 2005/2006 academic year, I had an experience with some JCR Common Room staffs in one of the Traditional Halls. A suspect was caught in the hall for stealing, instead of handing over the suspect to the police, they were beating the guy up. When I questioned them, they called me names.
One thing I find in my country Ghana, which in fact intellectuals are also involved in is that, people have majored in "wrong tackles" and "diversionary tactics"; whereby when something happened and you talk about it, instead of dealing with the issue frontally, they rather pour mad on the issue or you who commented and hang you because you did not see it from their point of view. Most of all, if the issue borders on governance, and you don't sing their tunes, they will sue a "politically coloured coat" and dress you with it.
What I think should be clear to as all; if I may say as "intellectuals" is that no single individual is a reciprocity of knowledge and that we all have our rights to speak of all issues we deem feet to speak about. Knowledge is like a baobab tree and no one person can embrace it alone. I also think we should stop the pretentious attitude and deal with messages instead of the messengers.
Are we not worried when political parties and partisan political class who are only majoring in blame games and proud of who does the "wrong better". Political Scientists, Commentators and "good people" of Ghana is everything going well in this country? Are the political parties not endangering our country? I hope we as a people will rethink who we really are and whom we profess to be. #IStandForNationalInterst #StandForJustice without a party colour, I stand for justice of every Ghanaian, I stand for #JusticeForCaptianMAM.
